Volgens een persbericht van de Fa Reyne en Zonen BV, importeur van ondermeer Roco, wordt er op dit moment wordt hard gewerkt aan een doorstart voor het merk ROCO. Het nieuwe bedrijf, Modelleisenbahn GmbH, zal de activiteiten voortzetten en streeft naar het behoud van het merk ROCO en de fraaie modelspoorproducten. Hoe het assortiment en het beleid eruit gaat zien wordt op dit moment uitgewerkt.

Modelleisenbahn GmbH is eigendom van de Raiffeisen-Verband Salzburg, de grootste schuldeiser van het failliete ROCO. De nieuwe firma wordt bestuurd door de heer Heher die al eerder is ingeschakeld voor een reorganisatie bij ROCO.

The manufacturer of modelrailways in Salzburg ROCO continues!

Hallein, 26th of July 2005. After the bankruptcy of the ROCO Modellspielwaren GmbH on 15th July 2005 the Modelleisenbahn GmbH has taken up the work as a hive-off company.

The locations Salzburg, Gloggnitz and Slovakia can be hold up but only one part of the employees can be taken over. The central funktions of the company will remain in Salzburg - like distribution, management, development, construction, purchase and logistics.
At least, accordingly of the changed sales plan approx. 450 employees from the formerly 800 can be engaged in the new society.

Mr. Leopold Heher will be nominated as a manger at short notice. Hr. Heher knows the compnay already from the time before Mr. Maegdefrau, because he even was active together with his team (Mr. Uwe Butz) with ROCO at that time.
Also some of the "old" team could be regained for the new start. Distribution manager Hr. Wadislohner and Hr. Ott are aboard, also former manager Hr. Plohberger is back in the new company.

The owner of the new company is the Raiffeisen federation of Salzburg.
Mr. Maegdefrau has no connection to the new company.
