1887 Jean Fleischmann grounds in Nürnberg, Germany, an engraving works
1899 The new factory in the Bielingstrasse in Nürnberg is put into use.
1917 Jean Fleischmann dies. His brother and wife continue the firm until 1940; than the sons Johan and Emil Fleischmann take over.
1930 Fleischmann logo 1930-1950.
1938 The takeover of the fa Doll & Co, enables Fleischmann to produce trains in scale O.
1940 During WWII the production is changed into cartridgebelts, visors and gas-mask cans.
1948 The destroyed factory at the Kirchenweg, Nürnberg is ronovated.
At Fleischmann 27 people are working.
1949 The first modeltrain in scale O with two-rail-system is officialy introduced on the Frankfurter autum-exhibition.
The production of steam engines is resumed.
1950 Fleischmann logo 1950-1966.
1952 At the Nürnberger Toy-fair Fleischmann introduces her HO-program.
Locomotives and coaches in scale 1:82.
1953 Motor type 53 introduced.
1957 The introduction of the trackwork with correct profile rail and the contact point underneath the locomotives and rail coaches.
1958 Introduction Motor type 58 (round motor).
1959 Fhe HO-program is a best seller. This means the end for the O-scale, steam engines and boats.
Locomotives and express coaches are made of plastic.
1964 Production is increasing. In Heilsbronn a new factory is build.
1965 The scale 1:82 is abandoned, all modells are now 1:85.
1966 The view between boiler and frames of steam locomotives is possible.
The series 55 was the first locomotive with the enigine in the tender.
1967 Fleischmann logo 1967-1982.
1967 The racing track "Rallye Monte carlo' is introduced.
1967 "Thinking point" and the Primalux electric constant lighting introduced.
1968 The current used numbering introduced.
1968 The correctly functioning rach railway system.
1969 Fleischmann's N scale model range introduced by the name Piccolo, with track with built-in ballast.
1970 The track-cleaning wagon on the market.
1971 The scale 1:85 is abandoned and the electric locomotive series 103 is the first in the scale 1:87.
1971 Fleischmann renumbers the whole collection of trains.
1972 The "Fox"-coupler introduced, forerunner of the "Profi"-coupler.
1977 The super 48 road-turntable introduced.
1981 DRG BR 38, steamlocomotive P8 introduced.
1982 De Fleischmann logo 1982-
1982 The "Profi"-track  with built-in ballast and correctly coloured sleepers.
1983 The "Länderbahn" annual special series introduced.
1985 The "Profi"-coupler with pre-uncoupling and the close couplingmechanism.
1986 The digital control FMZ.
1987 Fleischmann is 100 years old.
1987 Fleischmann introduces the steam-locomotive, series 39. A supermodel of 277 pieces.
1988 Fleischmann brings the Dutch Plan V on the market. Again a super-model.
1989 The integrated flywheel armature for the standard Fleischmann motor.
1989 The 282 mm long coaches introduced, an intermediate length between the old 1:100 length and the true scale 1:87 length
1990 All new lokomotives are equipped with brown wheels.
1991 The cataloge is changed; separate cataloge for scale HO and N.
1992 The "FMZ-Control 4", the small digital system.
1992 The "Magic Train", scale Oe introduced.
1994 The Pendolino is introduced. This model is developed by Fleischmann for Märklin too.
1994 The small diameter (16 meter) HO turntable.
1996 The new railbus motor-coach VT 95 with trailer. Finally the best model of the savior of the branch line.
1996 The Digital Control for four-train-system introduced.
1997 Goodbye to the proved round-motor. Fleischmann electric locomotive series 101 becomes a middle-engine with universal joint.
1998 Fleischmann introduces the steamlocomotive class 41. A supermodell.
1998 Fleischmann introduces the steamlocomotive 65 015 as a limited edition for 1998.
1999 Fleischmann introduces the set "50 Jahre DB". A steamlocomotive BR 38 with four coaches.
1999 Fleischmann N-"Piccolo" exists 30 years.
Exclusive locos and wagons are available, umong other things a steam locomotive, series 390-2 in "foto-anstrich".
2000 Fleischmann introduces the TWIN-CENTER.
A digital system for FMZ and DCC locomotives.
The new steam locomotive is one of the series 1310-12.
2001 Now Fleischmann fans can create their modell track by computer, Fleischmannn introduces the Fleischmann Model Layout Planner.
2002 During the Nürnberger Messe Fleischmann introduces the long expected 3-axled "umbau" coaches.
2003 Fleischmann introduces the model of the electric locomotive, DB, class E191. The digital Lok-Boss is available.
2004 The steam locomotive, DB, class 186, is the showpiece of the Nürnberger Messe.
Train-Navigation is introduced, together with the first software update of Twin-Center.
2005 Fleischmann introduces the type 760  (T 10) DRG steam locomotive and two variations of the diesel locomotive type 221: EBW-Cargo and imoTrans.
2006 The greatest news is the tender locomotive type 1710 and the LINT (Leichter Innovativer Nahverkehrs-Triebwagen). The best news for The Netherlands came on the end of 2006: the Dutch variant of the LINT. The yellow/white railcar of Syntus.
2007 Fleischmann excistes 120 years and celebrates this with monthly offers. The special offers are fortunataly only valid in Germany. Fleischmann treated the fans on the Jubilee train, but most of all; the tank locomotive type 95.
2008 Many Fleischmann fans were very surprised to hear that the German-Austrian Modelleisenbahn Holding GmbH, better known as owner of Roco, takes over Fleischmann.
2009 Fleischmann introduces over 130 new models and color variations. The Fleischmann Kurier disappears and is replaced by a combination of Kurier and Roco Report.
During this year Modelleisenbahn GmbH presents a definition of models for Fleischmann and Roco.
2010 The definition of models for Fleischmann is very clear in three areas:
- Historic locomotives, coaches and wagons from the German Lnderbahnen,
- Models from the earlier epoches I, II and III
- Nostalgia models.
